Prober

Prober is an e-learning tool which aims to help us all (especially students and professional decision makers) to understand our possible biases in assessing chances, so helping us know more about how much we know and thereby make better decisions.

A Prober set presents a series of true/false statements, to which the respondent indicates their belief that the statement is true, 0% indicating certainty it is false, 100% that it is true, with various levels of uncertainty to choose from in between. Graphical and textual feedback is provided at the end of the set. This include overall score and the extent to which the two key competencies in probability judgement – calibration and discrimination – are possessed.

Administrators control the topics, questions, list of possible responses and feedback, as well as being able to download the responses for offline analysis.

Prober is available for installation on your own server, or as a pay-monthly hosted solution.
